Lucky Day

Today was a lucky day for us.  In amongst the ordinary happenings and even some tough issues, we had happy times that made us smile.  Dane woke up this morning to find the Tooth Fairy had visited him and left him some “loot.”  He got a Sacagawea gold dollar coin and a note.  The boys love their notes as much as their treasure because their tooth fairy usually describes what she plans to do with their tooth.  This time Daisy (Dane’s tooth fairy) is using Dane’s tooth as a sled to play in the snow.  : )

Aidan’s long awaited birthday present showed up in the mail today.  This was ordered to go with a book he received and took 24 days to get here!  I really wish amazon would control their marketplace as well as eBay does.  LOL.

Finally, my parents took us out for a fun, relaxing dinner.  We were celebrating a great event for my mom and we all had a great time.  We are very lucky to have great family and friends in our lives.

I am spending time lately working on my running club’s upcoming St. Patrick’s Day race, Shamrocks for Sandy.  It is a fun, laid back race (unless you are looking for a PR, of course!) with a 5k, 10k and 1 mile kids run.  If you would like to join us, check out this link.  https://runsignup.com/Race/NJ/Manahawkin/ShamrocksforSandy5k10kand1MileKidsRun

So, I am wondering, what is the luckiest thing that has happened to you lately?
