April Fools day is coming and I need ideas to “prank” the boys. It is a bit of a tradition in our house. I think the boys’ favorite is when I froze their cereal bowls. They are older now, so I need something good. Here are some ideas I have come across.
Peach and Yogurt Eggs
Our pranks usually involve breakfast, so I like this one. Here are a few other food ideas that I might use this year.
Pound Cake and Icing Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Maybe some Jello Juice to go with it.
My boys usually prefer milk, so Pudding Milk might work better for us.
These Brown Es will take no time to make! I’ll need to have some of the real thing available though, or I am sure to hear about it!
After school it might be fun to see how they react to Tape On The Remote Sensor!
And finally, a Refrigerator Filled With Googly Eyes is sure to make anyone smile.
I guess I have a few things to add to my shopping list!
The April Fools Half Marathon in Atlantic City is almost here! I am so excited – this is one of my favorite races. It was the first half marathon I ever ran and I had such a good time. Of course that has a lot to do with the great girls I ran it with. This year a bunch of us are running again, so I am sure it will be a great time. I also love running on the boardwalk next to the ocean. This is the course:
Time to plan the outfit! This is always a fun part of getting ready for race day. This race, we may dress in support of Monika Allen, the brain cancer survivor that was mocked by Self magazine for wearing a tutu while running a marathon. If you have not heard about this, you can read about it here. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/03/27/self-marathon-tutu-cancer/6951659/ Looks like it might be tutu time…
So, I am wondering, do you prank your kids on April Fool’s Day?
I am also wondering, have you worn a tutu to a race?
